An animal adult, whether human or non-human, is a creature that has developed to the fullest extent. In the context of humans adults have meanings associated with the legal and social world. Legal adult means a person attains the age of maturity and can be considered independent, self sufficient, and responsible. Also, they can be described as a "major". There is a general belief that the age at which a person becomes a legal adult is 18. But, it can differ based on the legal rights and country as well as psychological development.

The lifespan of human beings Adulthood refers to the point at which he or she attains full mental and physical maturity. The majority of people believe that adulthood is attained when you are 20 or greater. Old age is about 60 years old after middle age. As we grow older, there are three distinct stages early adulthood (18-30 years), Middle Adulthood (30-60 year olds) and Late adulthood (60%-60 60%). At the point we are in the age of early adulthood (20 to the early 40s) the physical development is completed, though the size and weight of our bodies may increase slightly. When we reach the beginning of our adulthood, we're physically at our peak. Muscle strength, response time, sensoriac ability as well as cardiac function, all hit their highest levels.
